We had a chilly but lovely family walk at the arboretum yesterday. I love these pictures of Hazel thinking about rocks, one of her favorite activities. She counts them 1,2,3,4,6 and yesterday her dad taught her about saving them in her pockets. Needless to say we came home with a lot of rocks.
Hazel and I are back to gardening on Tuesdays at the arboretum. Last year this time Hazel enjoyed the dappled light under the big tree. This year she loves learning about earth worms, dirt, shovels, pails, staying on paths and sniffing but not touching flowers. What a difference a year makes!
