Hazel and Margo's Bistro

We had such a fun day today... I've been imagining feeding H&M family style a for a while. Today we transformed Hazel's desk into a little restaurant complete with red table cloth and place settings. The had so much fun serving each other and sitting together chatting.

Hazel's Study

Inspired by the Montessori's idea that young children need a place that is to their scale where they can work I spent the weekend painting an Ikea desk set for Hazel. She is very pleased and spent the morning practicing getting into and out of her chairs. She loved sitting with Totoro, baby Mae,and Bismarck the Beaver while she colored.
