Hazel enjoyed rice cereal with banana, Kate enjoyed Campari, and we all enjoyed this big pizza. A nice summer night.

Yoga Babies

Hazel and I had a nice session of mom and baby yoga this morning. Hazel's little friend Kieran does the perfect shavasana and Hazel practices a little bridge.

Growing

Yesterday Hazel had an avacado in brand new avacado highchair. Today she was hanging with the big girls at the Youth Garden while Jeff and I planted eggplant, tomato, and chard.

Five Years!

Helen and Jeff have been married five years today!

City Walk

We had a great ramble around town yesterday. Hazel and I picked up Jeff after his Boxing Class and then we headed through Adams Morgan to the zoo.



On the way home we stopped for sushi, beer, and ice cream. Hazel seems to have inherited the Payne-Young appetite for food and drink.

Hazel has already outgrown her first cradle. At nearly 17 lbs she's in the 90th percentile range in every measure--weight, length, head circumference, sheer genius. (Ok so we made that last one up. But is there anyone who doubts it?) Helen bought a new big-girl crib at IKEA (which, of course, is Swedish for "particle board") and Hazel approves.
